GRAVITY is VISUALLY STUNNING CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE….No movie has made me this much happy recently. Ever since I watched Children of Men and Y Tu Mamá También I have been a fan of Alfonso Cuaron. For me Children of men Is an under appreciated cinematic gem.Its like a study book for those who love cinematography and photography The way scenes are stitched is a treat to watch.Cuarons addiction to long takes,digital blending and wide camera angles are very famous.So when I heard that his new movie Gravity start with a long shot of 17 minutes I was really excited and curious…Oh Boyy what a shot that was.
GRAVITY should not be missed..you have to see it in theatre and in 3D ..yes 3D it’s a must see movie in 3D…then you will see the true beauty of it. Along with Cuaron, Clooney and Sandra Bullock there is one more star in the movie..none other than the cinematographer Emmanuel Lubesky. The camera, cgi effects and lighting all bend to a feeling that we are seeing a movie shot in space..You have to see it to understand what I meant.
There is no big story to tell but you will never take your eyes from the screen till the last scene. This can be said as a two character story.Clooney is in his usual charm. One favorite scene is the one he is last shown with Bullock.Sandra Bullock is the main character.She delivers one of her finest performances.Oscars Oscars
A perfect example to show hardwork always win.It took years to make this concept to screen.It will be among the top movies released this year. There is no wonder why the movie is getting good critical appreciation and box office results.Its pure cinematic excellence.
