Pacific Rim is nowhere near to his (my favorite) movie Pans Labrinth..not even close to The Devils backbone.
but its really amazing to see how the director manages to make a paper thin story to a visual magic...superb cinematography, editing and music...Guillermo as always love monsters..he know how to present them brilliantly...this could have easily become a Godzilla v/s Transformer movie..basically thats the story line
Only problem is you get too much content in 2 hour 10 minute movie..but thanks in a way its not to be like a Transformer which goes on and on..everything ends in this movie itself
watch it..its a good entertainer..dont expect some brainy stuff here..its out and out action
